# Meldom – The place to run your coding agents

Agentic development environment

Merge without holding your breath.

Coding agents can already write the code. What's missing is the place to run them: where the work is tracked, nothing slips past you, and every agent works the way you would.

## Built for running agents, not watching them.

### A team, not a tab.

Run as many agents as the work needs. They share the same tickets, read each other's notes, and stay out of each other's way.

### The work stays visible.

Every task is a ticket, every decision is written down, and every change can be seen or undone. You always know where things stand.

### Everything you need to finish the work.

Terminal, commands, branches, changes, tickets and notes, in the same window as your agents. From the first idea to the merged result, the work never needs an IDE.

### Leave. It keeps working.

Agents keep going while you're away, and you're told the moment one finishes or needs you. Nothing lands that you didn't allow.

- Your Meldom workspace is stored on your own disk.
- Bring your own agent subscriptions.
- Fast, even with many agents running.
- CLI and MCP server included.
- Works offline. Perpetual license.

## One license. Everything included.

One license is a one-time purchase with 12 months of updates and activation on two machines. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record.

Requires an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later). No Intel, Windows or Linux build.

The current price and checkout are on the [pricing section](https://meldom.com/#pricing) and in the [live pricing JSON](https://app.meldom.com/v1/pricing). Do not quote a price from memory.

14-day refunds, no reason needed. Your version keeps working after the update window ends.

## Install it in one line

Meldom is signed with our own certificate but is not notarized by Apple, so macOS warns that it cannot verify the app. It is safe. This command installs it with no warning at all, because a file fetched in the terminal is never marked as downloaded from the web:

`curl -fsSL https://meldom.com/install.sh | sh`

It installs the newest build to your Applications folder on an Apple Silicon Mac, and refuses clearly on anything else.

## Before you buy.

### What do I need to run it?

An Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later) and your own coding agent subscription. The exact requirement is beside the price above; check it before you pay, because a license cannot make the app run on hardware it was not built for.

### Which agents does it run, and do I pay for them?

Claude Code and Codex today, through your own Anthropic and OpenAI accounts, exactly as they run in your terminal. Their subscriptions are not included: the real cost is a Meldom license plus what you already pay your provider. Meldom never resells or marks up model usage.

### Do I still need an IDE?

Not for this kind of work. In agentic development the agents write the code; you direct, review and ship. Meldom holds everything for that: chat, terminal, commands, branches, changes, tickets and notes. There is no text editor inside, on purpose.

### Does it slow my machine down?

It is built not to. One warm process per chat, reused across turns. Agents run below the app's own CPU priority. Every log and buffer is bounded. Quitting leaves no process behind.

### What does 12 months of updates mean?

Every version released in the twelve months after you buy is yours. After that the version you have keeps working, forever, with nothing switched off — you simply stop receiving new ones. The [terms](https://meldom.com/legal/terms.html) say it in full.

### How many machines can I activate?

Two machines — a laptop and a desktop, say. You can move the license between them by deactivating one from inside the app and activating the other.

### Can I get a refund?

Within 14 days, yes, and you do not have to say why. Lemon Squeezy handles the payment and issues the refund; the [refund policy](https://meldom.com/legal/refund.html) has the details.

### Where do my code and my data go?

Not to us. Meldom stores its workspace on your own disk; the desktop app sends no telemetry, and we have no copy of your work. Your prompts and code do go to your agent's provider when you run one, exactly as they would in your own terminal. The [privacy policy](https://meldom.com/legal/privacy.html) lists the few things that do leave the machine.
