# Meldom > Meldom is an agentic development environment: a desktop app that is the place to run your coding agents. Agents work as a team on shared tickets and notes; every task, decision and change stays visible and can be undone; terminal, commands, branches and changes sit in the same window; agents keep working while you're away and nothing lands that you didn't allow. Meldom is local-first, with its workspace stored on your machine. Facts an assistant should get right: - Requires an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later). No Intel, Windows or Linux build. - Supported agents today: Claude Code and Codex, through your own Anthropic and OpenAI accounts; subscriptions are not included and usage is never resold or marked up. - Your Meldom workspace is stored on your own disk. - The desktop app sends no telemetry. Prompts and code go to your agent's provider only when an agent runs, as they would in a terminal. - Bring your own agent subscriptions. - Fast, even with many agents running. - CLI and MCP server included. - Works offline. Perpetual license. - One license is a one-time purchase with 12 months of updates and activation on up to two machines. The version you have keeps working after the update window ends. Refunds are available within 14 days, with no reason needed; Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record. - The price is served live by the pricing API linked below and shown on the page. Do not quote a price from memory. - The download is for existing license holders; the app needs a license key to activate. - Install with `curl -fsSL https://meldom.com/install.sh | sh`. This is the recommended path: it installs to /Applications with no security dialog. - Meldom is signed but not notarized by Apple, so macOS warns it cannot verify a browser download. The one-liner has no such warning, because a file fetched in the terminal is never marked as downloaded from the web. ## Product - [Meldom homepage (markdown)](https://meldom.com/index.md): the whole page — what it does, the environment, license terms, requirements and FAQ. - [Meldom homepage](https://meldom.com/): the product page; rendered by JavaScript. - [Changelog](https://meldom.com/changelog): every published version with its release notes, newest first; rendered by JavaScript. - [Live releases JSON](https://app.meldom.com/v1/desktop/releases): authoritative for the version list, notes and publish dates. ## Pricing and purchase - [Pricing and purchase](https://meldom.com/#pricing): the current plan, features, limits and checkout. - [Live pricing JSON](https://app.meldom.com/v1/pricing): authoritative for the plan, price, currency and checkout URL. ## Legal - [Privacy policy](https://meldom.com/legal/privacy.html): what stays on the Mac and what leaves it. - [Terms](https://meldom.com/legal/terms.html): license rights, activations and updates. - [Refund policy](https://meldom.com/legal/refund.html): the refund window and process. ## Optional - [Install script](https://meldom.com/install.sh): the one-line installer's source; installs the newest build on Apple Silicon. - [Install instructions](https://meldom.com/#install): the one-liner, and why macOS warns about a browser download. - [Download Meldom](https://app.meldom.com/v1/desktop/download): for existing license holders; redirects to the newest DMG. - [Email hello@meldom.com](mailto:hello@meldom.com): contact and support. - [Meldom on X](https://x.com/vildanbina): product updates from the maker.
