Terms of service
Last updated 22 September 2026
These terms cover buying and using Meldom, the desktop application sold at meldom.com by Vildan Bina (“we”, “us”). Buying Meldom means you accept them.
What you get
The perpetual right to use Meldom under your Meldom account, which includes 12 months of updates from the date of purchase, and which you may sign in on 2 devices that you own or control. Your data stays in one file on your disk. These are the exact terms shown on the site at the moment of purchase; if the offer on the site differs from this page, what you bought is what applies.
What “perpetual” means when the update window ends
After 12 months, the version you have keeps working, with no further payment, as long as it can check in with your account at least every 28 days. You simply stop receiving new versions released after that date. Nothing expires, and no feature is taken away.
Your account and devices
Your purchase belongs to your Meldom account, and you use Meldom by signing in to it. Every machine you sign in on counts as one of your devices, up to two. You can move to another machine by signing out of one, or by removing it from your account page, and signing in on the other. Once a machine is signed in, Meldom verifies your purchase on that machine, checks in with us every few minutes while online and refreshes its sign-in once a day. It keeps working offline for up to 14 days on a fresh sign-in, plus a grace period up to 28 days; after that it needs to reach us again.
What you may not do
- You may not resell, rent, lend or redistribute Meldom or your account, and you may not share your account with anyone else or beyond the device limit above.
- You may not remove or work around the sign-in or the device limit.
- You may not decompile or reverse-engineer the software, except where the law gives you that right regardless of what a contract says.
Everything you build with Meldom is yours. This clause is about the application itself, not about your code, your tickets or your work.
You need your own AI accounts
Meldom drives Claude Code and Codex. It does not include, resell or subsidise access to them: you bring your own Anthropic and OpenAI accounts, and your use of those services is governed by their terms and billed by them. Buying Meldom buys the application, not the models.
Requirements
The desktop app needs an Apple Silicon Mac; there is no Intel Mac or Windows build. Headless servers run on Linux x64 and arm64. Check this before you buy — nothing can make the app run on hardware it was not built for.
Payment and refunds
Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for every sale: they take the payment, issue the invoice and handle any tax. Refunds are covered by the refund policy.
Support
Support is by email at [email protected], offered in good faith and without a promised response time. Meldom is made by one person; you will get an honest answer, not a service-level agreement.
Warranty and liability
Meldom is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It runs coding agents against your repositories: review what they produce, and keep your work in version control. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential damage, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Meldom. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects any statutory consumer rights you have.
Ending your access
You may stop using Meldom at any time and delete it. We may disable an account that breaches these terms — chiefly resale, account sharing or circumvention — after telling you why and giving you a chance to put it right.
Changes
These terms may change for future purchases; the date at the top changes with them. The terms you bought under continue to apply to your purchase.
The whole deal in one line: pay once, own it forever, get a year of updates, sign in on two of your own devices, and bring your own Anthropic and OpenAI accounts.
